Pupils and parents/carers may need guidance in understanding and using SCQF levels and credit points when they are applying for jobs, or moving on to further or higher education.

School staff can access further information about SCQF Level Descriptors and SCQF Credit Points, which will help explain these specific features of the Framework.

Information for school staff, school pupils and parents / carers of school pupils is now available. As of August 2005, the SCQF appeared on Scottish Qualification Certificates under the Additional Information section and links with SQA and Careers Scotland were set-up to help young people find out more information regarding their SCQF credit points.
