The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework helps employers, learners and the public in general to understand the full range of Scottish qualifications. It shows how they relate to each other and how they can contribute to improving skills and knowledge.
As a learning provider, you may be asked to explain the specific features of the Framework, such as SCQF Levels and SCQF Credit Points, and its benefits. Programme designers and writers of unit specifications will also need to know about the SCQF level descriptors of the Framework. An explanation of the Framework is also given for learning providers including:
