Realising Your Potential: A Guide to the SCQF for Lifelong Learners

We constantly strive to meet the needs of our various audiences in generating a deeper understanding of the SCQF, so have developed a leaflet explaining the Framework to lifelong learners over the age of 16. The leaflet, entitled Realising Your Potential, was developed with input from Skills Development Scotland and Scotland's Colleges and, like our other leaflets, has been crystal marked by the Plain English Campaign. The guide provides information on SCQF levels and credits and gives examples of how the SCQF is being used by colleges, universities and employers. The guide also provides details of a small number of non-mainstream learning programmes which have been credit rated along with answers to some frequently asked questions. Realising Your Potential is available to download and hard copies are also available upon request.
